A brilliant first week.....

Posted on September 7, 2016 by dfisher.

Mrs Bracken and I have been so impressed with how sensibly our children have come back to Nursery. We are so proud of them!

All of them have listened beautifully and followed instructions. All of the Elmers have been very independent – accessing provision  confidently and showing they are ready to learn (while having lots of fun!!!). Also, we have all been kind to the new children starting with us. We have started to show them our Nursery routines and be as helpful as we can.

Already we have had a go at a range of activities. Lots of us have painted self-portraits with Mr Fisher, some of us have made playdough for our classroom with Mrs Bracken and all of us have enjoyed participating in lots of fun tasks within our classroom. Some of us have even had a go at writing numbers, writing our names, drawing pictures of our families and working in small groups to join the pieces of a train track together. We’ve had such a busy three days so far!!!

Take a look at some of our photos from this week:

Thank you,

Mr Fisher

Looks like lots of fun, I enjoyed seeing all the self portraits hung up around the classroom today!

Thanks for your comment! We have painted numbers this week, hopefully they will be on display either inside                                       or outside very soon!

                                 Thanks,

                                 Mr. Fisher
