A fun final week of the half term!

The Elmers have shown great interest in different vehicles. This includes cars, buses, trains and even tractors! Due to this interest we have focused on activities linked to this.

 

This week the children have been able to:

  • Cut out shapes to make shape vehicles with Mrs Laver.
  • Travel on bikes, scooters and cars outside.
  • Play with diggers in the sand.

 

Other areas of our classroom have been linked to interests of our children. This has included ‘My Little Pony’ in the small world, babies and baby clothes in our home corner and Thomas the tank engine resources in the construction.

 

We have also enjoyed using different equipment outside to help us to learn to balance. This has included travelling with stilts and travelling on other outdoor equipment.

 

Mrs Bracken continues to work with small groups completing the LEAP programme to support communication and language skills.
