All aboard our pirate ship!!

This week we have started our new topic of ‘Beside the sea’. Our focus for the first few weeks is going to be ‘Pirates’.
We started on Monday by role-playing being on a pirate ship. We completed the following instructions:
- scrub the decks
- hoist the sail
- Stand to attention for the captain
- Weigh the anchor
We imagined we were travelling on the pirate ship and thought about the different things we would see on our journey.
L.N said ‘I can see an island’.
R.A-R said ‘Let’s find treasure’.
A.Ho said ‘The sand is yellow.’
