Art Week!!

The Elmers have loved Art week. We have had so much fun completing activities linked to the work of artist ‘Andy Goldsworthy’.
We have completed lots of ‘temporary’ art using seashells, stones, twigs, potatoes and carrots. We were inspired to use some different man made objects to create patterns and pictures with as well. This has included bobbins and jewels.
We also noticed some of his work involves circular shapes. So we have had a go at colouring in circle shapes to support our pencil control development:
We have also been artistic through accessing other art activities. Mrs Laver has been busy supporting our children to make their Easter cards. Other children have chosen to draw farm animals and experiment with paint.
