Jungle fun

The Elmers are loving our topic ‘Elmer’ and ‘The Jungle’.
We have moved on to reading the story ‘Walking Through the Jungle’. We have read the story together, joined in with repeated phrases and answered some questions about what has been read.
Mrs Laver has been busy working with the children to make different jungle themed crafts. These have been used to create a fantastic display in our classroom and to decorate ‘The Jungle’ – a small room we use for group work in Nursery. We have also enjoyed role-playing in our Jungle Vets Surgery:
Mr Fisher has worked with small groups to develop social skills in our new ‘Jungle’ room.
