Seashells on the stage

Posted on October 10, 2017 by rbaron.

On Friday we visited the new stage in the KS2 yard.

We took turns to act out short scenes from our class story ‘Sharing a Shell.’

The Seashells know our story really well and they remembered what each character says.

We concentrated on using clear voices that everyone could hear and also we added expression to show how the characters were feeling.

What do you think the Big Green Fish is thinking when he sees Blob and Crab?

The audience sat and watched and applauded when each scene had finished.

In class we learned how to use the ipad to record a video of our play.

We also used the playback button to watch the recording and think of ways to improve it for next time.

Your website is AMAZING...my grand-daughter has just started school and it is WONDERFUL to be able to                                             check in each week to see what wonderful things she is experiencing and learning.  Wonderful opportunities                                         are presented in a fun way.  It is lovely to see such happy, relaxed, engaging children.  I live down south and                                         your website is fantastic and enable extended family to keep in touch more easily.  Thank you so much.

What a lovely comment! We are so glad to hear that our blogs are read.  We have an exciting few weeks coming up so look out for a blog about Forest Schools and our trip to Walkley library.
