Hello lovely KS1 Children. This weeks work will be based on a lovely, funny book: Weasels - Elys Dolan.
There will be a 5 jobs to do and I'll leave a google form for you to update your work. Please have a go at as much as you can.
Monday Job: Listen to my video reading of Weasels and draw a picture of your favourite part of the story. I like it when they try to fix the machine.
Tuesday Job: Answer the reading questions about the Weasels book on this form
Wednesday Job: Think of your favourite animal. Find some information out about it from a book or on the National Geographic website - (Please ask permission first) and then start to make a plan!
Thursday Job: Write a funny story about your favourite animal doing something unusual. Take a photo and upload.
Friday Job: Have a look at the work your friends have done and read their brilliant work.
Listen to the reading of Weasels. What was your favourite bit? Who is your favourite Weasel? Draw a part of the story and upload it so we can share it here!
Thanks so much to all who have uploaded some pictures. I'm glad you enjoyed the story about the pesky Weasels.
I've added some questions for you to answer about the story. I've also put a box in for you to ask me questions about the story. I'll upload my answer on Friday!
Today we are going to do some research. Think about your favourite non-weasel animal and research some information about them. Collecting ideas will help us write our story!
Today's task is to read through the other peoples work and see if there are bits that you liked, that made you laugh or see if there are bits that didn't make sense. I'm going to wait till 12 lunchtime today and see if more people send their stories in. I'll read through all the work and we can celebrate our work together. See you after lunch!
