What we're doing in class

Week beginning 22nd January:

It's Forest Schools week for Kensukes so, alongside our classroom work, we will be heading out into the great unknown (well, the back of the school) to try our hand at some outdoor adventures! The weather is set to be changeable all week, so each Kensuke is advised to bring a warm, waterproof change of clothes to change into should they need.

Oh, Castleton Fund Raising disco is on Tuesday from 3:15 - 4:45pm and then there are Castleton information meetings for parents on Wednesday at 2:30pm and 5pm.

It's set to be a busy one!

Week beginning Monday 11th December:

Well, it's the penultimate week of the term and we are still firing on all cylinders in Y6. Alongside preparation for the production, we will be completing our third and final piece of writing based on 'She's Leaving Home', this time creating a police appeal from the POV of the Mom or Dad of the missing She. To be eventually presented to camera, this will give each of the Kensukes the chance to flex their dramatic muscles.

Maths wise, the plan is to become masters of ratio and proportion as well as consolidate our knowledge on fractions.

We've got this for sure.
