Autumn 2

Our last Christmas Dinner in our current building - great memories!

Our Christmas Party! Sounds, snacks and tests of our mental and physical agility. All a bit different this year, but still tremendous fun!

Getting ready for Wednesday afternoon's Christmas party!

Check out our Tudor Museum

We worked in groups presenting different items in our museum.
We looked at Tudor design to get our inspiration for the string prints. The jewellery was inspired by looking at portraits of Tudor Royals.

Here are our finished models.

Did you know glass was very expensive in Tudor times? This meant that only the rich were able to have windows. Others just had a hole in the wall - brrrrrr!

Making our Tudor-style houses

We used our teamworking skills to design and make a Tudor -style house. We started off as architects to draw up a plan then used measuring, cutting and design skills to make our models.

Tudor Posters
We had lots of fun creating posters for our museum.  It was an opportunity to present information about the Tudors to go on display in our museum.

Varjak Paw Children in Need Day

Tudor Jewellery

We researched jewellery and badges worn in Tudor times and made some sketches before designing our own piece of jewellery or badge.  There was lots of enjoyment using modelling clay to make our jewellery and then decorate it using paints and gems.

Forest School

Here are some photographs of our Forest School, experience!

Bug hunting, den building, SPaG treasure hunting and lighting a campfire. And we escaped the rain!
