We took our art lesson to forest school this week! We are looking at printing in art, this week we learned about 'rubbings' so we took rubbbings of bark on trees. Were they all the same? Were they different patterns and thickness?
We had a forest school challenge this week, who could build the tallest tower? In teams we tried different structures and ideas! What was the best design?
Anansi loved their new art topic of printing this week, super printing everyone! Have you done printing at home before?
We have enjoyed following our plan in DT to make an animal model that can stand up! Do you liek them? What animal would you make next time? What skills did you learn?

We have had a fun start to the term, we have been looking at what a diary is and how to write one, does anyone have one at home?
In maths we have looked at how to make teen numbers by using a ten and then adding ones. Can you count backwards from 20?
We are completing our DT animal models before starting our new art topic so look out for photos coming soon on completion!!
In science we are continuing our learning about materials and their properties, can you find different materials in your home?
Well done on bringing your reading books and reading records everyday and practisign your reading frequently at home, you are all doing so well with your reading! :)
