ART

Building upon our skills of sculpture especially using clay we have designed our very own Anglo-Saxon Brooches.

We placed gems in the brooches just as the Anglo-Saxons did to protect themselves from evil spirits.

Here are some pictures of us making and painting them.

                                    World Book Day!

Geography

As part of our Geography topic in Y4, we have been learning about rivers and how they are formed.

This week we learnt all about the processes that happen to a rock in a river and key geographical vocabulary.

We learnt this in form of a song where the children made up their own movements.

Take a look at two groups in action.

Can you remember the song? Try showing your friends and family at home!
