Investigating division with remainders...
In Maths, we have been using multiplication to work out the total number of possible combinations. We started by investigating how many different outfits we could dress Mr Jones in with a choice of two different hats and three different pairs of gloves. We found out there were 6 different combinations because 2 x 3 = 6. We went on to explore different outfits for a snow man and flavours of ice creams and different toppings!

Scaling in Maths...
As part of our Geography and Science topic, Extreme Earth, we have been learning about what is under our feet. We made models to show the different layers that make up the Earth (the inner core, the outer core, the mantle and the crust).
This week, we have started our brand new Science topic, Brilliant Bodies. In our first lesson, we have learnt about different food groups and what makes a healthy, balanced diet.
