Please have a look at the Gruffalos displaying excellent ball control skills in PE!

Here is the powerful "Plastic Bag Song" by Nick Cope. The Gruffalos and Stormwhales are studying about pollution in our oceans and will perform this song at the "Proms in the Playground" evening.

In our Land Ahoy topic we have visited Jamaica and learnt the wonderful song "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley. Check out the Gruffalos singing and playing the xylaphones to the reggae beat!

Some Gruffalos were chosen to go to Sheffield Wednesday's ground to learn about plastic recycling, create art and have a tour!

The Gruffalos had a great 100 classwide reward party at "The Beach!" We had a summer disco, played with the parachute, decorated stones or shells and had an ice lolly!

The Gruffalos and Stormwhales have worked for months on their collage of "People Who Have Positively Changed the World". Today we came together and decided how to frame it. Please have a look at this creative tour de force!

Here are the Gruffalos in action using Cuisenaire rods, base ten and numicon to solve tricky word problems. Bravo young mathematicians!

Although this happened right at the end of last term, we wanted to share about our fantastic Easter story trip to St Barts. The children were immediately immersed in an interactive performance where the story of Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection was brought to life.Many thanks to the St Bart's team for the brilliant performances, songs, explanations and chocolate eggs!
