Summer 1
In PE, the Chayas are learning to play rounders. In the first two lessons, we have focused on accuracy in throwing and catching, and have introduced batting and fielding positions.
In Art, we are studying sculpture. In the first lesson, we explored the work of our focus artist: Sokari Douglas Camp. This week, we have been developing our ability to work with clay: manipulating clay and using a slip to join pieces together to form a maquette (rough draft of a sculpture).
