Good afternoon, Varjak Paws!

The next time you come in to school, you will be Y6s - ready for your next, and final, stage in your primary school career. You're more than ready for it! Your tenacity, flexibility, patience, maturity and care for one another over the last year proves it.

I was so proud of you all this morning as you wished Mrs Jinkinson well as she leaves us. The level of commitment to your performances was the best yet - you were confident, talented and humble; a great combination!

It has been a pleasure to have had the responsibility of teaching you this year and I hope that you go on to fulfil your potential into Year 6 and beyond.

Enjoy your summer break - stay safe and be the Golden Citizen in whatever situation you find yourself in. Relax and enjoy the company of friends and family. Laugh and make good memories for you and others.

This afternoon, the Varjak Paw athletes braved the stormy weather and made their contributions to the Walkley Primary School Virtual Sports Day.

Everyone competed for their House in both track and field events - it was great to see some competitive (and sportsmanlike) behaviour on display as each Paw did their best and supported one another.

Well done, everyone - you are a credit to the class and to the school!

Tuesday 15th June 2021

This afternoon, the Varjak Paws were able to have a go at some team work games using giant stacking cups provided by The Arches Sport Partnership. It was great to be working competitively (against other teams as well as against the clock) out on the yard in the sunshine.

Sheffield Big Sing 2021

The Varjak Paw and Aslan classes are representing Walkley Primary School at the Sheffield Big Sing 2021!
