Viking Shields
Check out these striking model Viking shields designed and made by the Fantastic Foxes! We completed some research to find more about Viking shields before designing our own. We had to draw and measure the paper to make sure it fit correctly onto the cardboard. We added the 'boss' (the central metal part) to complete our shield.
Stop Motion
This week we used iPads to create our very own stop motion in pairs!
First, we made Viking characters and boats. Then, we used the 'Stop Motion' app to create our own scenes crossing the ocean. Finally, we edited our videos on iMovie where we included sound effects, music and voice recorded over our Viking Poems written before half term.
This is the first time Foxes have used Stop Motion, I was really impressed by their creativity! Have a look at what they produced!
