Sticky ice experiment!
Amazing winter walks Year 1! Im glad to see you all wrapped up and smiling enjoying the outdoors! Looks like lots of you did better than me with the ice experiment!

Computing
In January the year ones start to learn computing at Walkley Primary School. Coding sounds scary but it's really just taking a set of instructions and putting them in the right order. This coding activity feels like a game, and so care should be spent "playing" with the activity. We normally use a timer. When the timer is up the game stops!
Thursday
PE
With the weather being a bit soggy I've planned for an inside PE.
First have a go at the quick warm up.
Then have a go at the weekly dance
Then learn how to do gymnastic shapes from a gymnast.
If you get chance and you are allowed please do get outside for your daily excercise. It's important for your body and your mind. If you do get outside I want you to run as fast as you can for as long as you can.
