This week we will be looking at a few activities involving pirates on the high seas and locating treasure! Please have a go at this fun yoga activity which follows a story involving a dolphin called Popcorn! Please upload photos of you in action to the form below.

Finally, please listen to Mrs Chetcuti read the brilliant story "Pirate School: Just A Bit Of Wind". While you are listening, write down any verbs you can hear ( For example; climb, shout, say, run).

 

Also draw a picture of your favourite part of the story so far and label it.

Lo: To make and design your own pirate treasure map!

 

"Ahoy there land lovers!" Today we will be getting creative and making our own pirate maps.  We will need paper, old coffee or tea bags, creativity and your geography skills!! Please watch the video to see how it is done!

This time please continue to listen to the story and write down any pirate words you hear. For example plank, cannon, ship and sail.

Finally, a huge well done to TM for an extraordinary home project he has been working on with his family. As you can see from the pictures, TM drew his own design, uploaded and coloured it on a computer, sent the designs to a fabric printers and sewed his own fab cushion. These look incredible! If anyone would like to share any work they have been doing at home please upload on the google form or contact enquiries. Bravo again TM!
