This week's spellings are further homophones and near-homophones. Have a go at the activities and take time for a spelling test at the end of the week. Good luck!
This week, we are focusing on punctuating speech correctly. Remember, direct and indirect speech are features of a newspaper, which is our Literacy focus over the next 2 weeks. Please look at the bitesize videos and powerpoint , which will explain clearly how to use them.
Task 2.
Please write 10 full sentences that use direct speech. Why not write your sentences about the monkey being found in the toilets? Or perhaps another animal found in an unusual place in the school.Make sure you put punctuation in correct place!
