Wow Aslans! You really made my day yesterday with your creativity and imagination! the traps that you designed were FANTASTASTIC!

Today you are going to be writing your first drafts. Please watch the video and then use the remember tos and your box it up plan to help you write your first draft.
There is my example and a writing frame under the video if you need more support. Otherwise, write neatly on a lined piece of paper or in your book. We will edit and publish tomorrow.

LO: to be able to write clearly to instruct the reader
I can remember to:
★ Ask 2 questions to introduce the instructions
★ Use fronted adverbials to order the steps for the reader (first, then, next…)
★ Tell your reader what to do by using bossy, imperative verbs (put, get, take..)
★ Extend detail with a sentence of 3 things
★ Finish off with a warning

Friday 12th February 2021
Today you are going to be editing your first drafts and then publishing your instructions. There is a video to help you edit and then there is an another video to help you create instructional booklets. If you find it tricky, there is a template under the video. Also, if it is too small when you use A4 paper, then use A3 or make two booklets and have part 1 and part 2.

Your learning this week has been so AMAZING! Thank you so much for all that you have produced. I loved seeing your ideas and your wonderful imaginations in how to present those ideas! Thank you for inspiring my daughter. She loved seeing your traps and she has wanted to play jungle traps all week because of you guys! Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy PLAYING! I've seen all the creativity and imagination you have to offer so go have FUN!
