Lo: pre teach

This week we will be looking at a wonderful poem called "The Dragon Who Ate Our School" by Nick Tozeck. Today we will look at key vocabulary and phrases in the poem for our pre teach lesson.

LO: To recite part of a poem

Today, I would like you to try and learn part of the poem off by heart. To do this, you will need to read the poem many times to slowly memorise it. You could also do actions to help you recall words and phrases too. Take your time and impress your family with your fantastic poem recital skills!!

Mild: Learn 2 lines of the poem

Spicy: Learn your text!!

Flaming Hot: Try and learn 3 verses of the poem or all!
