Place value to 50
Now we are in Spring term, we need to understand all our numbers to 50. As we say at Walkley...Maths is EASY! This is because, as long as you can count to 10, you will see a pattern throughout number work. This term we will be using this pattern to understand numbers to 50.
Today is all practical. Get 50 of anything and count! Watch my video and it will explain more. Then I would love to see pictures of you counting. Upload them below the video.

Don't forget if the CLIC or Learn Its are too tricky, try the level below. If you get them all correct twice all by yourself then move up a level next time. The expected level in year 1 currently is CLIC 5 and Learn its 5. These will both test your knowledge form the daily CLIC sessions in maths this week, I hope you've practised your Learn Its songs!
