What a brilliant week we had last week! We have been learning all things Frida, starting with learning the song, 'In a World of Colour'. We read the song lyrics to help us learn the words fluently and then we used the green screen to record our performances. I'm sure you'll agree that ours is just as professional as the original!

In English, we have just started a biography of Frida Kahlo. We read the book, Little People Big Dreams: Frida Kahlo and used it to create a timeline of her major life events. Tomorrow we will be looking at the book, A Portrait of an Artist: Frida Kahlo by Lucy Brownridge to analyse how Frida used colour and symbolism to express her emotions.
