English
In English we have been writing explanation texts on the question ‘How do you hear sound?” linking in with our Science topic. We have included presentational devises such as subheading and diagrams to make it easier to read. We have also included lots of factual information and rhetorical questions to make it engaging for the reader. Here are some of our final posters presented in our classroom.

Bookvent
Children in Chayas have been bringing in their favourite books from home to share with the class. Each day we have been unwrapping a new book. So far we have had a range of books from Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs to Steve Backshalls factual book on the worlds deadliest creatures.

After weeks of practicing lines, dance lessons and group rehearsals today we had our first dress rehearsal in front of KS1. The children are so excited to share their hard work with adults at home this Thursday!
Year 3 and 4 had a fantastic time at St Bart’s for our Christmas assembly. Thank you to all of the volunteers who made it such an engaging event!
