History
We have been learning about Anglo Saxon everyday lives and what they would have done in their spare time. For our history lesson this week we participated in a rotation of activities which included solving Saxon riddles, writing Saxon runes, matching an ailment to the correct Anglo-Saxon medicine and reading information to match to the Anglo Saxon jobs.
Times Tables
This week we have been focusing on our 9 times tables. Chayas made their own stop motion videos using their nine times tables facts. Take a look to see their amazing creative hard work!
Castelton 2025
The children did all of us proud on our 3-day residential at Castleton. They showed amazing resilience, independence and teamwork as they trained as roman soldiers, gem panned, hiked the countryside, made bread, lit fires, explored caves and built shelters. Well Done everyone – it was a pleasure to take you and learn outside of our school environment. Thank You parents for providing your children with everything for the trip- we hope they have shared their favourite moments with you and that you can look through these photos together :)
