Summer 2
We finished our art topic or murals making our own painting of the view from school. We considered background and foreground and mixed our own colours. We had an outdoor gallery to share our amazing work, which did you like and why?
We loaned some old toys from Weston Park Museum and had a chance to explore them.
We enjoyed our new maths topic this week. We are learning about turns and position. We had to turn either clockwise or anti-clockwise and decide if it was a quarter, half, 3 quarters or whole turn with a partner, well done!
In computing we used Scratch Jr to move a sprite around.
Welcome back Anansi class! We have loved hearing about your fun half terms! We are looking forward to speaking to all of your parents at parents evening this week. We have an exciting half term ahead. This week we are completing our art paintings of our local area and mixed our own shades of green to paint the background before we go on to add foreground details next.
