How we Assess Physical Education at Walkley
PE cohort books are used to capture class reflections on their learning in a unit against the identified crucial learning.
PE learning is captured through video evidence placed on the school’s You Tube channel (PE assessments) The videos capture evidence of the sequence of learning and the end point performance (dance performances). Teachers will talk to the children before the video to recap all the key vocabulary so it can be used in the video.
Teachers will also use observations during practical elements of the sequence of learning to inform their teacher assessments.
