Merry Christmas everyone! Have a lovely break! we had a fantastic fun week with a special visitor who brought gifts for the class, we made cards, calendars, hats and wore them to our party as well as Christmas Dinner. We enjoyed festive jumper day and did an amazing job in our performance. What did you enjoy?
We had a fantastic visit from the Space Dome! The children loved the experience of going into the dome and learning about space. It was an immersive experience with projections all around us which was very exciting. We finished our DT project this week by making, painting and assembling our free standing animals. How did you make your animal stand? What animal did you amke and how did you make it look like it?

In DT this half term we are researching free standing structures. We built animals that could stand on their own. How did they stand? How did you make it stable?

In RE we looked at advent wreaths and why Christians would have these to coutn down to Christmas. How many candles did you put on and why?

We have enjoyed our first trip to forest school this week, making pictures, patterns or towers from leaves and discussing how it has changed since last forest school. How have the leaves changed and why?
Welcome back to Anansi Autumn Term 2! We hope you had a lovely half term with friends and family. We are looking at Christianity and the celebration of Christmas in RE this half term. We found gifts for a baby in a box and had to decide if they would be for a modern day baby or for Jesus. Can you remember what we smellt? (Frankincence and myrrh.)
