Autumn 2
Our focus in DT is to design and make our own toys with a moving mechanical component. We have measured our designs, used saws to carefully cut dowel and hand drills to make holes.
In PE we have been consolidating our football skills and putting them to use in a football match!
We had a fantastic time on our trip to Weston Park Museum! It was a great way to consolidate our learning, discover new facts about Ancient Egypt and explore the rest of the museum.
In History we have been consolidating our knowledge of Ancient Egypt by making comparisons with another historical period. We found lots of similarities between the Ancient Egyptians and the Anglo-Saxons!
