Dear Walkley Community
We just wanted to say a BIG THANK You to all pupils, parents/carers and staff that helped at the Summer Fair! What an amazing team and community we are!
It was an incredible day and you managed to raise an amazing £3536.11 (OUR MOST EVER)
A huge thank you to the Friends of Walkley and all the parent/carers for the organisation and support prior to and on the day of the fair. Our Friends of Walkley are Super!!
Thank you to Mrs Leverton, Mr Drew, Mr Malcolm and Mrs Selwood for raising lots of money by getting sponged again this year. You are heroes!
Huge thanks to everyone who helped run stalls, setting up, tidying away, cooking pizzas, painting faces, serving refreshments, looking after the bouncy castles and so much more. The list is endless and the fair couldn't happen without everyone's help and support.
Thank you to Amy (Dazzle Dance) for squeezing all the dance/cheerleading groups into her very busy schedule on Saturday. They were all brilliant and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone into putting the routines together.
Everyone at Walkley Primary School would like to say a BIG thank you to all the companies (list below) that were able to donate a prize to our Summer Fair raffle which helped us raise so much money. All proceeds from the Summer Fair will go towards enhancing the experiences for all the children in school.
