Spring 2
In forest school the children have been learning about the seasons and looking for signs of Spring and identifying different trees. We continued our Maths learning by measuring different objects around the forest with a ruler.
The children really enjoyed their trip to St Bart's. They learnt about the Easter story and made some first hand observations about plants! The best bit of course was the drink, chocolate egg and biscuits at the end....
In Literacy the children have been learning instruction writing, based on The Gingerbread Man. As part of this they really enjoyed making their very own gingerbread biscuits, Here they are observing the different steps and then finishing off the recipe by rolling the dough, cutting out shapes, and finally decorating their biscuit..
