Week 5

We have been very busy bees this week. We have loved learning all about bees. We have made our own bees by wrapping black and yellow wool around a body. Great fine motor practise!

We have been exploring with the beebots, making play dough bees and looking at the trays from a beehive.

We have been exploring doubles in maths this week and the Caterpillars are amazing at finding a double and knowing it is made up of two equal parts. We also have begun talking about Easter and making our baskets for the Easter Bunny.
Thank you for a great week everyone

Week 2

We have loved learning more about The Bog Baby this week. We designed a habitat for our Bog Baby to live in.

The Bog Baby went missing so we had to go and find him. He left a trail outside and we discovered many Bog Baby Babies!

We loved celebrating World Book Day. Thank you for all of the thought and effort you put into the costumes. They we fab and we had a great day.

Week 1
It has been a great week in Caterpillars! It has been lovely to hear about your holidays and celebrate being back together.

This week, has been all about 'The Bog Baby'. It is one of my favourite books and I hope the Caterpillars love it just as much as I do.

We have done some great writing about what our own Bog Baby would look like!

Jeanne Willis reads The Bog Baby

After we had designed our Bog Baby, we made them come to life. We used our sculpting skills to really help us think about the detail we put on our Bog Baby.

We can't wait to see what happens next week with The Bog Baby.

Have a great weekend
