We love our new hoodies!
It has been a great World Book Day. The children had some amazing costumes.
We have spent lots of time reading and discussing our favourite books. We met up with our y3 buddies to hear about their favourite books and to tell them about books we enjoy. There were some super roach skills on show with super questioning, explaining and listening.
Pop Maths!
A group of Year 6 pupils represented Walkley on Saturday at a Pop Maths competition run by Sheffield Hallam University. We competed against over 20 schools answering reasoning problem solving challenges. The team managed to answer a staggering 17 our of 20 correct and came joint 4th overall. Well done Team Walkley!
