PE In PE we had our first tennis lesson, we learnt the key components of a tennis racket and developed our racket and ball control.
Citizenship In citizenship we have been thinking about our emotions. We listened to the Sia song unstoppable and wrote our own affirmations to give us some positive words when we are feeling challenged.
Art
In art we explored a new artist, Delita Martin. We looked at Delita’s work and what she expresses with her art, we then compared similarities and differences with our previous artist study, Frieda Kahlo. We then went on a gallery walk around the room, discussing with a partner what motifs we could see, how does the artwork make us feel, why do we think the artist created it, and did you like it?
English
In English we have begun to learn all about Greek myths starting with the story of Medusa. We read through the story together before discussing the characters and then working in teams to act out the beginning of the myth.
