We have had so much fun during our Bikeability sessions this week and learnt lots about road safety too!
As part of our Science topic, the children have been investigating micro-organisms. We devised an experiment using yeast - a commonly used microorganism - to see in what conditions it would thrive. We learnt a lot and honed our investigation skills too
What a fantastic day our children have had an Crucial Crew today! We learnt important life skills and had lots of fun too!
The Kensukes have been taxonomists this week! We have been learning all about the science of classifying organisms and became zoo-keepers for the afternoon. We thought carefully about how to classify different animals using our knowledge of their characteristics. In our next lesson, we will be looking at the work of Carl Linneas - the father of Taxonomy!
