Sports Day
We all had a fabulous time at sports day. Thank you to everyone who came and joined in the fun!
Whirlow Farm

We practised our catching skills and pracised been accurate with our throwing.
We tried to return a ball to our partner.
Kick Rounders
We played a competitive game of kick rounders against the Hodgehegs.
We used a tennis racket and ball to try some skills. We bounced the ball on the racket, ran with ball on the racket and patted the ball down with the racket.
Music
We used the glockenspiels to improvise the song 'I want to play in a band'.
Star Group
We read The Lion Inside and acted out part of the story.
Maths
We have been learning all about mass. We weight item to work out there mass.
Citizenship
We learnt about the digital 5 a day. We discussed how we could use the internet more effectively. Then, we could up statements and decided with part of the wheel they fitted into.
We learnt about fake news. We learnt that all things on the internet aren't true. After we made our own fake news articles and presented them to the class, pretending we were a news presenter.
Dance

Art
We started making our collage this week of people who positively changed the world.
Science
We learnt about seed dispersal and the many ways seed can be moved.
Geography
We walked around our school picking up litter and marking what litter we found on a tally chart. Then, we put that information into a bar graph using the iPads. After, we wrote a sentence explaining what we could do to change the litter issue.
We used all our knowledge and made an ocean board game.
