Today's video runs a little long, but that's because I have needed to close our Roman topic before we could start our new topic which will run for the rest of the year: The Making of Britain - Anglo-Saxons, Britons and Vikings
Get yourself comfortable, watch the video and then have a go at the tasks which should give your a good introduction to the Anglo-Saxons and Britons.
LO: To be able to explain the Anglo-Saxon migration.
I can remember to:
- label a map of North Sea invaders.
- connect clauses to explain how invaders arrived in Britain.
- discuss the impact this would have had on the Celtic people (the Britons).
The map that you need to complete is attached to the Remember To below.
With the matching statements, you have a choice.
You can either:
- print, cut and rearrange using either of the two levelled PDFs below;
Good work. I find it easier to cut out and move around as well.
Well done.
