Hello lovely Year 6s!

We hope you are all well and looking forward to a week long break over half term. We are so proud of all the effort you have put in this half term. It has been lovely to speak to some of you on the phone and we will continue to contact you in the first week back. Miss Edge would also like to say well done for all your hard work and she is really missing the life and laughter that Year 6 bring.

Greetings Year 6s! Welcome to your remote learning page. I know the new year hasn't started off as we all wished it to, but we will be continuing with the work we had planned to deliver this term here on the Y6 blog and look forward to a time when we can welcome you in to our new building safely.

Each day you will find a new maths lesson, a writing or SPaG lesson (check the SPaG page if there isn't a lesson on the writing page) and a wider curriculum lesson (creative curriculum, science, french, PE etc).

In addition to this, at the start of the week you will find a week's cycle of guided reading work to work through throughout the week. There will also be weekly spellings added with tasks to practice the spellings. 

We will add google forms underneath the tasks so that you can share your work with us and let us know how you have found the work. This will enable us to give support where it's needed and adapt our teaching as we would in school in light of your feedback. We can't wait to see the work you produce!
