Throughout the school year as part of the Citizenship Curriculum (PHSE, RSHE including Health and Wellbeing, Community and online safety), pupils will enquire and discuss the issues around their safeguarding.

There are many behavioural aspects to the digital lives of children and young people that are clearly part of their personal, social and health education and relationships, sex and health education.
The Citizenship Programme of Study at Walkley is based on the needs of today’s pupils and prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
Walkley, in partnership with other Sheffield schools, has adopted a PSHE driven focus within it's Citizenship curriculum which encourages appropriate behaviour and citizenship and embraces opportunities for online safety discussion and learning through the Whole school Core RSHE themes.
