• Mrs Wilson - Retirement

  Dear Parents/carers
  
  I write to inform you of Mrs Wilson’s upcoming retirement. Friday 26^th January will be Mrs Wilson’s last day as a Teaching Assistant at Walkley Primary School. Jayne has worked with the families of Walkley for over 22 years, directly impacting on the lives of so many children. We are sure that you will join us in wishing Mrs Wilson a wonderful retirement.

   

  I have worked with Jayne for over 17 years and I have benefited so much from her kindness, guidance and care. I know that my fondness for Mrs Wilson is shared with all the staff (past and present) at Walkley and hundreds of families that have shared their lives with our school.

   

  Thank you Mrs Wilson. With much fondness, we wish you every happiness in your retirement.

• An AMAZING Christmas Fair

  What an amazing evening we had on Friday at the WPS Christmas Fair. Organised by our Friends of Walkley and staff, we have never been so busy. Many many thanks to everyone that contributed to the fair: for your donations, your support and your efforts throughout the day we are so grateful. We are delighted to announce that we raised an amazing £2,208.83

  Incredible!! This money will be used to provide experiences for the pupils in or out of school this year.

  Brilliant fun!
