• An Amazing Showcase of Music and Entertainment

  A packed hall and a magical treat for pupils, parents and staff, we were having a great time at the Musical Extravaganza. Walkley at its best!! Many thanks to everybody that showcased their talents, supported the performers and helped to create a brilliant event. WPS always comes alive on these evenings and even though the weather intervened and sent us indoors, it didn't stop us having a blast! Congratulations everyone and thanks for a great night. • What a wonderful Eid Celebration

  What an incredible afternoon we've had celebrating Eid. Thank you so much to all our parents for setting up all the fabulous treats and snacks. As always, they were delicious! As one of our most anticipated events of the year, the weather did not detract from the celebrations and the hall was full with eager eaters. How fantastic to see everyone joining in the celebrations.

• Walkley Y2 Secret Agent Training Graduation

  During the month of May, Y2 pupils have been ably training for Secret Agent Status. With enthusiasm, resilience and perseverance they have now achieved their Secret Agent Status with distinction! In Golden Assembly this morning, the Y2 cohort were presented with their Secret Agent Stickers in recognition of a successful training in May.

• Walkley Pupils - findings from the online safety pupil questionnaires

  The theme for Summer term's PSHE / online safety learning is all about supervision and support. What do the pupils at Walkley do when they're online? Which devices do our pupils use? How often and for what purpose? Are pupils maintaining a healthy balance to support their desire for screen time?

   

  In our launch assembly for this theme, pupils were asked to complete a questionnaire to help us understand their habits and needs. Moreover, pupils were also asked to help the grown ups to support them by producing digital content to educate and inform parents on the issues arising from the questionnaires.
