• Walkley Primary Christmas Fair raises an astounding £1517.17

  Many thanks to all our pupils, parents, family members, staff and supporters of Walkley primary for your efforts and generosity on Friday at the Christmas Fair. We can now confirm we raised an incredible £1517.17 which will be used to contribute to the purchase of more class iPads.

• Walkley Pupils Raise £974.25 for Children in Need

  Congratulations to the Walkley Primary School Council for such a fantastic day of fundraising on Friday. We can now announce that a magnificent £974.25 was raised!

   

  Pupils and staff had a lots of fun on Friday. What a great job you did putting on such a great event.

  

• Parent Election Results

  We would like to thank Dawn Wood and Hend Alyazeedi who are our outgoing parent governors.  We have worked together for four years and wish to acknowledge their time, dedication, support and insight into making our wonderful school even more fantastic.  They stand down from their role in February 2019.

   

  211 votes were cast by parents in the parent election. The count took place on Tuesday 13^th November and we are pleased to announce that Melvin Hodgetts and Rachel Mistry were successfully elected to the Governing Body. They will take up their posts from February 2019.

   

  We thank all our candidates for taking part in the election and look forward to working in continued partnership with you.
