Dear Parent/Carer,
We just wanted to say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to all the pupils, parents/carers and staff that helped at the Summer Fair. What an amazing team and community we are!
It was an incredible day and you managed to raise an amazing £3476.36!!
A huge thank you to the Friends of Walkley and all the parent/carers for the organisation and support prior to and on the day of the fair. Our Friends of Walkley are super!!
Thank you to Mrs Leverton, Mr Drew, Mr Malcolm, Mr Gill and Miss Whittaker for raising lots of money by getting sponged this year. You are heroes!
Huge thanks to everyone who helped run stalls, setting up, tidying away, cooking pizzas, painting faces, serving refreshments, looking after the bouncy castles and so much more. The list is endless and the fair couldn’t happen without everyone’s help and support.
A special shout out to Mr Butler, Miss Laver, Mrs Sutton, Ms Buxton, Mrs Homer, Lena & Sylvie Homer for their help from start to finish and without them the fair wouldn’t have happened.
Thank you to Amy (Dazzle Dance) for squeezing all the dance/cheerleading groups into her very busy schedule on Saturday. They were all brilliant and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone into putting the routines together.
Everyone at Walkley Primary School would like to say a BIG thank you to all that purchased raffle tickets and any company that was able to donate a prize to our Summer Fair Raffle, which helped us raise so much money. All proceeds from the Summer Fair will go towards enhancing the experiences for all the children in school.
Thanks to anyone else who supported with the event. You are all amazing!! The children, staff and families definitely had a wonderful day. What a community we have at Walkley!!!!
Kind regards,
Mr Clements

WPS – Curriculum Newsletters
Dear Parents/carers
The teachers in each cohort have prepared a Curriculum Newsletter to share the learning intentions for Summer Term 2 with you. They will update you with a new Newsletter at the start of each half term.
Newsletters can be found on your child’s Class Page on the School Website, in the Curriculum Newsletter page. The Curriculum Newsletters will remain on the website for your reference throughout the year.
We hope they continue to give you an insight into the learning taking place for your child, in different subjects. If you have any questions, do please get in touch.
