Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Celebration
Fri 27 May 2022We have had the most wonderful afternoon at Walkley. All our pupils celebrating together for the first time in a long time. It has filled our hearts with joy. The pupil parade around the school set the tone for the party. Once at their tables, we congratulated the Queen on her 70 year reign and applauded her commitment to serve.
During our rendition of the National anthem who should appear at our school? Well, none other than her majesty herself! Seen waving from the window; what a surprise!
Then a delicious afternoon tea.
Finally with all the pupils sat on the bank, we were entertained by the cheerleaders and Y3/4 dancers with some outstanding performances.
It has been fabulous. So lovely to have everyone together, having such a fun time.
