• Reminder: Singing on the Stage tonight at 5pm

  Dear parents, grandparents, families and friends of Walkley. Tonight is the first ever Singing on the Stage gathering. Come and join the staff for a festive sing along. We will be at the Outdoor Performance Theatre from 5pm this evening. Bring your torch and maybe a mice pie too!

• Walkley Awarded Sheffield Charter for Quality

  I am delighted to inform you that Walkley Primary School has been re-accredited the Sheffield Charter for Quality Provision in Early Years. Last night, at the Town Hall, the EYFS team presented to a number of Sheffield schools with regard the work done at Walkley to engage parents with learning and encouraging parents and pupils into the Walkley family. Led by Miss Baron, Mr Fisher and Mr Murphy the EYFS team showcased magnificently the super work done by the teaching and inclusion teams, Friends of Walkley and our parents and pupils. Like me, I'm sure you would have been very proud of them.

  What an amazing afternoon we had yesterday, the Christmas Fayre goes from strength to strength. Thank you so much Friends of Walkley for the organisation of such a fantastic event.
